Intuition is a Natural Ability Within Us All

Have you ever thought of someone just before the phone rang, and discovered that very person is the person calling? Or perhaps, you thought of someone, and later heard some news about that person, or something similar? Think it’s just a coincidence? Think again.



The truth is, intuition is available to each and every one of us. It is part of who we are. When we brush things off as coincidences, we basically are telling ourselves we don’t need the guidance our own intuition is offering to us. On the other and, when we pay attention to such pieces of information, and honor them for what they are, in turn, more information is made available to us. What we pay attention to expands, and that includes intuition and/or psychic ability.



What that doesn’t mean, though, is if you have stronger natural psychic abilities, you can make them go away by not paying attention to them. I have often had others ask me if there is a way to make visions, voices, etc. go away. My answer to that is, no. You can indeed suppress natural clairvoyant, clairaudient, and even slight medium abilities, however, when you do so, the end result is manifestation of physical sickness.



You can, however, ask that the information you receive be only information you can use to benefit another, or ask for, in any other way for it to be more tolerable for you.



You have the gifts you have for a reason. They are part of who you came here to be. Natural abilities do have to be accepted, worked with, and further developed. If you find you have strong natural abilities, there is no doubt whatsoever you are to use them to serve in some way. Although, in the beginning, they may feel like a curse, they are indeed blessings. The more you use them to benefit others, the more you will see them as the blessings they truly are.



There are many different ways you can start work on further developing and learning to use your psychic abilities, but first and foremost, the most important aspect, is working through and releasing any fears you have associated with your gifts. Rest assured if you have these gifts, and you seek guidance for using them in service, enormous protection and help is and will further be available to you.



Meditation brings clarity, and strengthens natural gifts, as well as allows you to receive guidance and information. It is in the still space we enter through meditation where all answers lie. Those who have strong natural abilities also meditate naturally, or are able to go into a meditative state of mind naturally.



Trust that your gifts are tools you brought with you in order to serve, help others grow, and to grow with and within yourself. See it as the great honor that it is. Denying these aspects of yourself is denying who you came here to be.









Meanings of Different Psychic Terms

There are many different terms used out there in the marketing world for many different kinds of gifts. I am often asked about the various terms and their associations with gifts.



Psychics come in many various forms according to which gifts are strongest, and which ones they utilize in doing readings, psychic investigations, profiling, and the many other avenues of light work pursued by those with psychic gifts.



I will do my best to clarify some of the terms used today and what gifts they are associated with.



When you see the term “psychic” and “medium” put together, as in someone who simply states they are a psychic medium, this basically means that the person can both see past and/or future events through the use of one or multiple gifts, and they can also communicate through some form with the spirit world.



In the term “psychic medium” alone, there are still a great many variables. For instance, one psychic medium may be clairvoyant, empathic, and be able to see and feel ghosts. Another psychic medium may be clairaudient, and clairvoyant, and can both see and hear those who have crossed over as well as ghosts. Still another may be a remote viewer and a spirit medium, meaning he or she is able to “transport” themselves mentally to another time and experience it as if they were there, and that person is also able to communicate with those who have crossed to the other side, as well as those who may be ghosts.



Clairvoyant means clear seeing. A person who is clairvoyant may be able to see past and future events in their mind’s eye, or through dreams. They may also be able to see others from the other side when coupled with medium abilities. Someone who is clairvoyant may also see frames of information as if viewing a movie in fast forward.



Clairaudient means clear hearing. A person who is clairaudient may be able to hear past and future events or sounds related to a situation. They may also be able to hear others from the other side when coupled with medium abilities.



A Medium is someone who can communicate in some form with those who have crossed to the other side, those who may be stuck here as ghosts, or both. A Channel Medium is someone who can channel long spells of communication with spirits on the other side, or literally be a “channel” for someone from the other side.



Someone who is an empath, or empathic, literally feels the emotions of others around them or those they focus in on. They may also be able to feel physical pain of others. Empaths are able to transmit energy as well as receive it, and are the creators of our world. Because of their ability to literally “feel” others, they are found as writers, artists, musicians, counselors, psychologists, life coaches, medical intuitives, as well as other creative and healing arts. Empathic ability is always coupled with creative ability to give the empath a natural way to cope, and ground themselves.



A remote viewer is someone who can put themselves mentally in another place and time. They are able to experience the event as if they were present with all use of physical senses. Many remote viewers are found profiling for this reason.



Psychics and Psychic Mediums can have various combinations of many gifts as well as many different career paths in areas where they feel most guided to help others, or areas where others are guided to them. Different paths depend on the person’s life themes, personality, combination of gifts, and areas of interest.












Am I Empathic?

Q. Beth, I think that I might be an empathic poet, but I’m not sure. I’ve always been the ‘therapist’ in my clique, and people seem to open up to me fairly easily. Also, I believe that I’m fairly charismatic…When I write my poetry, I think it does have something to do not only my feelings, but other feelings that I’ve ‘absorbed’, also, I think I may write the future in my poetry; but how can I tell?? PLEASE HELP!

A. Thank you for your questions, Brooke. I have several things to share with you about yourself which should help you to see things more clearly.



You are indeed empathic. Writing poetry is your natural way of releasing the energies that you absorb throughout the day. Empathic people are always given at least one creative gift (music, art, writing, etc) to use as an outlet in order to release those energies, and enlighten others.



What many empaths struggle to realize, is that we also have the ability to project emotion, and do so throughout our entire lives. We must be aware of that ability and what we project.



As for writing the future, when writers, write, we are in a meditative state of mind, whether it is realized or not. When one has natural gifts from spirit to develop, those gifts get stronger through meditation. As you find yourself writing more, these gifts are gaining strength because you are spending time in that meditative state, and thus they show through in your writing. What spirit gives me, is, you are not only clairvoyant, but you also have the ability to channel and automatic write. Meditate daily to further develop these gifts. Remember, meditation is not focus, it is unfocus.



Now! As for the being “the therapist”, you are here on a rescue theme. People who need help or advice are naturally drawn to you for this reason. You rescue throughout every day, have done it your entire life, and you will do it your entire life. Learn to balance and you can do this on a grander scale with much less exhaustion.



Put all these things together and they scream lightworker! Develop your gifts to find fulfilment in service to others.
