Intuition is a Natural Ability Within Us All

Have you ever thought of someone just before the phone rang, and discovered that very person is the person calling? Or perhaps, you thought of someone, and later heard some news about that person, or something similar? Think it’s just a coincidence? Think again.

The truth is, intuition is available to each and every one of us. It is part of who we are. When we brush things off as coincidences, we basically are telling ourselves we don’t need the guidance our own intuition is offering to us. On the other hand, when we pay attention to such pieces of information, and honor them for what they are, in turn, more information is made available to us. What we pay attention to expands, and that includes intuition and/or psychic ability.

What that doesn’t mean, though, is if you have stronger natural psychic abilities, you can make them go away by not paying attention to them. I have often had others ask me if there is a way to make visions, voices, etc. go away. My answer to that is, no. You can indeed suppress natural clairvoyant, clairaudient, and even slight medium abilities, however, when you do so, the end result is manifestation of physical sickness.

You can, however, ask that the information you receive be only information you can use to benefit another, or ask for, in any other way for it to be more tolerable for you.

You have the gifts you have for a reason. They are part of who you came here to be. Natural abilities do have to be accepted, worked with, and further developed. If you find you have strong natural abilities, there is no doubt whatsoever you are to use them to serve in some way. Although, in the beginning, they may feel like a curse, they are indeed blessings. The more you use them to benefit others, the more you will see them as the blessings they truly are.

There are many different ways you can start work on further developing and learning to use your psychic abilities, but first and foremost, the most important aspect, is working through and releasing any fears you have associated with your gifts. Rest assured if you have these gifts, and you seek guidance for using them in service, enormous protection and help is and will further be available to you.

Meditation brings clarity, and strengthens natural gifts, as well as allows you to receive guidance and information. It is in the still space we enter through meditation where all answers lie. Those who have strong natural abilities also meditate naturally, or are able to go into a meditative state of mind naturally.

Trust that your gifts are tools you brought with you in order to serve, help others grow, and to grow with and within yourself. See it as the great honor that it is. Denying these aspects of yourself is denying who you came here to be.

Coping Strategies for Empaths

I have some exciting things I have been working towards having available for you! Many of you have asked me for quite some time about teaching development classes. I have found a very affordable way for me to host those teleclasses that helps me to keep the cost low, and have finally found a way to have the time available to be able to host them! Beginning Friday, October 23rd at 11:00 am Central Standard Time, I will begin hosting teleclasses. The classes will be only one hour in length, and topics will change weekly. The cost for each class has been set at only $19.98.

Join me this Friday for my first teleclass, as I teach Coping Strategies for Empaths. I feel very honored to host this teleclass, as I have had a great many people who have come to me for help in learning how to effectively cope with empathic abilities, as well as how to work with them, and what exactly it is that one is to do with this particular gift.

A great many people with empathic abilities tend to view this gift as a curse rather than a gift because it can be very overwhelming to one at times, as well as confusing. I assure you, there is a reason you are empathic, and you are not cursed! Your own emotions are a powerful tool, once you learn how to properly detach from all the emotions you are absorbing. (And yes, there is a reason you feel those as well!)

Empathic people have a very special mission at this time in our evolutionary process. It is a great responsibility, but also a very rewarding one. There are many things that are key with helping empaths to learn to effectively wield through all the emotions in a day's time, as well as reduce the negativity that is often absorbed. It is also very important to stay grounded as well as to have enjoyable coping strategies in place to help with the relief of all one takes in.

To reserve your space, a "teleclasses" tab has been added to the menu here, and the classes have been added to my BookFresh scheduling system, which you will find on the teleclasses page. You can reserve your space directly from the page. Payment is accepted through paypal at the time of reservation, and a confirmation will be emailed by my office within 24 hours of receipt including the call in number and access code to the class. This will come from the BookFresh site to let you know your reservation has been accepted.

Join me this Friday and learn how your empathic abilities make a difference in our world!

Where Is a Good Place to Find Help For Empaths?

Tuesday, September 8th, 2009

Q. From a twitter friend: I’m wondering if you’d have any idea of the best place for me to find info. I’m an empath but just recently realized so. Any ideas??

A. There is a great wealth of information out there across the internet that other empaths put out in efforts to help others like yourself. Connecting with others can be a wonderful help, as we often may feel alone with this extraordinary ability.

The best place to learn, truly, though, is within yourself. To learn to better “identify” where feelings belong, spend time meditating daily, ask for help from God, your guide, and your angels. They will guide you.

Things that are beneficial (almost crucial) to your well being as an empath, are:

1. Surround yourself with as many positive and uplifting people as you possibly can.

2. Avoid those who are chronically negative.

3. Find a creative outlet to release all the energies you “absorb” throughout the
day, and USE IT EVERYDAY. (art, writing, poetry, anything creative, as empaths
always also have a creative gift in order to do so.)

4. Practice observing the emotion as it is felt, and identifying where it is coming
from. The more you do this, the easier it gets. This helps to “detach” yourself
from the emotions that do not belong to you.

5. Be very aware of your ability to project emotion to others. We not only absorb,
we also project. Use this ability to uplift others around you. This, in turn,
allows you to “absorb” more positive energy.

When we take in emotion from others that we do not release, we can literally make ourselves physically ill. Both grounding yourself and releasing are very important for your well being!
