Every Gift is a Blessing
Although, it definitely may not seem so for the young medium, who constantly has ghosts around him, or even for the young clairvoyant, who is constantly seeing negative images, gifts are just that – gifts, and are never, ever a curse.
The law of attraction intensely applies to those who have spiritual gifts of any nature. It is extremely important, that you stay positive, if you want to be able to help others in a positive way. When the metaphysically gifted person becomes negative, all that can be seen or felt is negative.
Staying positive does not mean, however, that you will never see, experience, feel, or otherwise receive negative information, as we are given information in order to help. This is why learning the arts of grounding and detachment are essential to the well being of those who find themselves with gifts seemingly beyond their control. Learning techniques that help one ground themselves and detach themselves from the stream of information they receive is what brings more control.
Fear is the number one negative emotion that must be worked through. Being fearful, brings more to fear, as any other emotion constantly felt brings more of the same. Learning detachment and grounding will help in this area, but most important is to realize there is nothing to fear. The visions and feelings do not belong to you, and the ghosts are not here to frighten you. Compassion is the key.
Pennies From Heaven
Q. I had a reading with a medium once during a very stressful time in my life. My father had been gone for about a year, and I so needed to know he was with me. The medium told me to pay attention, because he had been trying to communicate with me all along through the “lucky” pennies I had been finding every where. It was true I had been saying to others how lucky I had been lately, because I kept finding pennies everywhere always facing heads.
I started putting them in a jar labeled “pennies from heaven”, and after about two weeks I stopped finding them everywhere! Is he still here?
A. Yes! He is still with you! The stress in your life eased because you became aware of his being near. You acknowledged your awareness of his presence, so there was no need for him to continue to try to get your attention.
He also uses the smell of a cigar to let you know he is there!
Can Ghosts See Us?
Q. Can ghosts see us?
A. Yes and No. Ghosts who are aware they have died can see us. Those who are not aware they have died, may not be able to until they are aware.
What Happens to the Ghost
Q. My friend’s house recently had a fire in the kitchen. There was damage to most of the house, so they decided to demolish it and rebuild on the same foundation. They had a ghost that they had lived with for many years in their home. They lived peacefully together, and as weird as it may sound, they really like having the ghost there. My question is, with the house not being there anymore, what happened to the ghost?
A. The ghost is still there. She is associated with the land, not the house.
Is His Mother's Ghost Haunting Him?
Q. My neighbor’s house has a presence they can’t explain. They smell certain dishes in their home being cooked that only his mother made, and always at odd times. It might not happen for quite a while, but then it will happen again. Is his mother haunting their home?
A. No. His mother isn’t haunting their home. She has crossed to the other side, and is a spirit, not a ghost who is trapped here. When they are smelling these smells only associated with her, she is visiting, and just letting them know she is with them. She sends these particular smells, as they automatically associate them with her.
