Heaven
by Beth Layne Poetry on May.16, 2009, under love poem, love poetry, spiritual poem, spiritual poetry
Escape with me to a world unknown
Where nothing matters except love and life;
Where children play without fear -
No more hardship, no more strife.
Where roses bloom throughout the winter
And grass nor trees ever die;
Where sunshine is a friend, not an enemy -
And no one is ever sad to cry.
A place where no evil egos exist
So there is never a person who is mean;
There, all the world is a splendid place -
And ugly faces are never seen.
I close my eyes and see this place
With castles cascading from the air;
Where money nor gold is a requirement -
And in all the land, nothing is unfair.
A land where people are not afraid to love
And hearts are given without fear;
Where laughter and happiness fill every day -
We’ll live for each moment year after year.

Mountain Bliss
by Beth Layne Poetry on May.16, 2009, under nature poem
Pillowy softness, endless still
Among the skies so high;
Blue smoke among the heavens,
Though never of nature shy.
Mountains of forest lusture
Where rivers flow through;
Wildlife in ever abundance;
Every day is fresh and new.
Rain to cool the days,
Beautiful colors of fall;
Snow capped beauty by winter;
Summer is best of all!
Shaded by southern trees,
In a land full of clean air;
Our haven in the hills;
Our peace within our prayer.

Visions
by Beth Layne Poetry on May.14, 2009, under ghost poem, ghost poetry, psychic poem, psychic poetry
In the pyramids of my tired mind,
I see the stretch that you bore;
Such innocence lost so young,
Life for you, exists no more.
What once was a vibrant light,
Has ceased now in this realm;
All for the growth and love,
Of all those you were around.
Tonight I see it all so clearly,
And now I carry your message;
Peace be brought unto you,
Blessed be your soul’s passage.

Haunted Memory
by Beth Layne Poetry on May.14, 2009, under ghost poem, ghost poetry, love poem, love poetry
To do again, what different I would do -
Perhaps, then, life would be more kind.
Forever I am haunted by your memory -
Your image, burned in my mind;
I hear your words, even still -
I know you are still here with me;
It matters not, you understand now -
For, in my mind, I still see.
My heart could set aflame wood -
So fiery, it is, with its wrath;
Nevermind what you continue to tell -
Fate set you across my path.
My heart will never be the same -
Forever changed, I live to tell;
Wrapped in the haunting of you -
Tormented by my own, private hell.

Seek Within
by Beth Layne Poetry on May.08, 2009, under psychic poetry, spiritual poem
Today, I saw the light through your eyes-
Buried beneath all the rubble and stone
Waiting with anticipation to be released-
And through the world, its brilliance grown.
A Healer’s energy within you, I feel-
Powerful beyond many masters of healing-
Why then, do yourself, not heal-
But cover yourself in armored shielding?
Deserving of all that is you and within you-
Though feeling of all, the least deserving;
Helping everyone around you in some way-
But always, left with a constant yearning.
It is deep within you to discover-
Seek for it with new and different eyes-
Eyes that see within and not without;
It is there, every answer you seek lies

Trapped
by Beth Layne Poetry on May.07, 2009, under ghost poem, ghost poetry
Indeed, I hear your whisper in my ear -
Raising the tiny hairs on my nape;
Swallowing slowly, as not to miss a drop -
From what is it, you so long to escape?
Mesmerized, I am waiting for the flow -
The images and sounds you wish to share;
At warp speed, the feed of the story -
Brought to this point by doom and despair.
Time, for you, having stood endless still -
Centuries and ages have long been past;
The peace you need is no longer here -
Lost in the darkness, ever so vast.
Someone to tell you where she awaits -
Forever, alone, you have so waited;
Lost in the flow of things gone wrong -
And all you hadn’t anticipated.
In the light of love she patiently waits -
All you waited so long here to find;
Waiting over there, while you were here -
Rise up – leave now this world behind.
Back to the glory from wince you came -
Healing and peace await you there;
Love in abundance for you evermore -
Just for you, I give this prayer.

Reality
by Beth Layne Poetry on May.05, 2009, under Uncategorized, spiritual poem, spiritual poetry
Walking on the edge of reality -
Knowing reality really is not;
It is only what you can conceive -
So, on the edge, I’m really not!
What is brought to your life -
Comes only from within;
Trials you bring to yourself;
Challenging yourself to win.
What you can mentally imagine -
Can be brought to reality;
No matter what that may be -
To create your own normality.
What, then, will you create -
Once you finally do see?
Life is all about creating -
So simple, it’s meant to be.

Overwhelmed
by Beth Layne Poetry on May.05, 2009, under spiritual poem, spiritual poetry
Emotions flow like a river through my soul -
Striking, swishing, and whirling around;
My breath is deep and I am one with the flow -
Enbracing the purpose for which I am bound.
I see; I feel; I hear all their words -
Rumbling like a volcano through my veins;
Carried by the brilliant light of love -
In the end, love is always what remains.
I soar through the journey like an eagle -
Seeing through life with my mind’s eye;
Receiving all they choose to give -
Not always knowing the reason or why.
Spinning in place but never moving -
A vessel through which to flow through;
All of the light I can breathe in and out -
Grateful for all through me they do.

Fallen Angel
by Beth Layne Poetry on May.05, 2009, under spiritual poem, spiritual poetry
Dry your veins from evil things -
Your soul you cannot destroy;
Tis yours indeed, you will see -
It has all been but a ploy.
A challenge, it is, your life -
An ambitious soul, you are;
Rise up and walk back to light -
You have simply wandered too far.
Your mission, before you, lies -
In wait for your humble retrieval;
From the land of hell, now rise -
Not for you, this place of evil!
Take my hand, and we will walk -
Back where you heart awaits;
Many are left, yet to be saved -
Will you leave them to their fates?
Release the fear, my fallen dear -
Your victory is so very near;
The star I light for you tonight -
Things are not as they appear.
