My Lover’s Clovers
by Beth Layne Poetry on Jul.09, 2009, under love poem, love poetry, medium poetry, spirit poem, spirit poetry, spiritual poem, spiritual poetry
Skimming slowly through the grass, feet bare -
In a meditative state with the nature sounds;
Lost in my silence, not expecting you there -
And then your energy suddenly surrounds…
My eyes wide open, I see your bare foot -
Only half an inch pointing toward my own;
Just in between, a four leaf clover as if put -
By your hand, into the ground, sewn.
A warmness comes as I hold the clover -
Memories swirl of a much different time;
Brought to a halt as if all was over -
Enchanted, as I enter the sublime.
A miracle accepted, though not expected -
I go back to my enchanting, inward escape;
Then, around the corner, your foot resurrected -
And two more four leaf clovers take shape!
I expected the three for the boys and me –
Delighted you chose to acknowledge us all;
Then, my sweet girl screams with delight –
As she runs giggling toward me with her doll.
“Look, look! See what I have!” -
Squeals my excited little bumble of energy;
She holds yet another four leaf clover –
I am amazed by the miraculous synergy.
Just behind her, I hear your laugh –
So uniquely you, even from there;
Tears streaming, I am so very grateful –
You have brought the peace of my prayer.

The Fire Within

Find the ember that starts the flame -
Let flame light flame through your being;
Let loose the creativity inside you -
Then visions of heaven, you’ll be seeing.
Let your spirit soar beyond all fears -
Look back in triumph from where you are;
Love with every ounce of your heart -
Dance in gratitude for every star.
Set loose the oxygen to fully ignite -
Breathe deeply and exhale the weight;
Know you are meant to glow with light -
Come now, my friend and make your fate!
Close your eyes and visualize it all -
Everything you deeply desire to be;
Let the gratitude flow through you -
Open your eyes, and you shall see!
Take hold of what deeply gratifies you -
Therein lies the mysterious key;
There is reason for what moves your soul -
Follow it, and you will be free.

A Piece of God
by Beth Layne Poetry on Jun.04, 2009, under spiritual poem, spiritual poetry
Alas, my friend, the power of God -
Lies deep within you indeed;
Always more to expore and know -
Of Him, you are a tiny seed;
All are connected, as all are one -
We are strung with silver thread;
Released to experience our lives-
To create and grow as we are led.
How then, pretell, could you not be -
Worthy of all you can dream?
If you are but a piece of God -
Then, how else should it seem?

Heaven
by Beth Layne Poetry on May.16, 2009, under love poem, love poetry, spiritual poem, spiritual poetry
Escape with me to a world unknown
Where nothing matters except love and life;
Where children play without fear -
No more hardship, no more strife.
Where roses bloom throughout the winter
And grass nor trees ever die;
Where sunshine is a friend, not an enemy -
And no one is ever sad to cry.
A place where no evil egos exist
So there is never a person who is mean;
There, all the world is a splendid place -
And ugly faces are never seen.
I close my eyes and see this place
With castles cascading from the air;
Where money nor gold is a requirement -
And in all the land, nothing is unfair.
A land where people are not afraid to love
And hearts are given without fear;
Where laughter and happiness fill every day -
We’ll live for each moment year after year.

Seek Within
by Beth Layne Poetry on May.08, 2009, under psychic poetry, spiritual poem
Today, I saw the light through your eyes-
Buried beneath all the rubble and stone
Waiting with anticipation to be released-
And through the world, its brilliance grown.
A Healer’s energy within you, I feel-
Powerful beyond many masters of healing-
Why then, do yourself, not heal-
But cover yourself in armored shielding?
Deserving of all that is you and within you-
Though feeling of all, the least deserving;
Helping everyone around you in some way-
But always, left with a constant yearning.
It is deep within you to discover-
Seek for it with new and different eyes-
Eyes that see within and not without;
It is there, every answer you seek lies

Reality
by Beth Layne Poetry on May.05, 2009, under Uncategorized, spiritual poem, spiritual poetry
Walking on the edge of reality -
Knowing reality really is not;
It is only what you can conceive -
So, on the edge, I’m really not!
What is brought to your life -
Comes only from within;
Trials you bring to yourself;
Challenging yourself to win.
What you can mentally imagine -
Can be brought to reality;
No matter what that may be -
To create your own normality.
What, then, will you create -
Once you finally do see?
Life is all about creating -
So simple, it’s meant to be.

Overwhelmed
by Beth Layne Poetry on May.05, 2009, under spiritual poem, spiritual poetry
Emotions flow like a river through my soul -
Striking, swishing, and whirling around;
My breath is deep and I am one with the flow -
Enbracing the purpose for which I am bound.
I see; I feel; I hear all their words -
Rumbling like a volcano through my veins;
Carried by the brilliant light of love -
In the end, love is always what remains.
I soar through the journey like an eagle -
Seeing through life with my mind’s eye;
Receiving all they choose to give -
Not always knowing the reason or why.
Spinning in place but never moving -
A vessel through which to flow through;
All of the light I can breathe in and out -
Grateful for all through me they do.

Fallen Angel
by Beth Layne Poetry on May.05, 2009, under spiritual poem, spiritual poetry
Dry your veins from evil things -
Your soul you cannot destroy;
Tis yours indeed, you will see -
It has all been but a ploy.
A challenge, it is, your life -
An ambitious soul, you are;
Rise up and walk back to light -
You have simply wandered too far.
Your mission, before you, lies -
In wait for your humble retrieval;
From the land of hell, now rise -
Not for you, this place of evil!
Take my hand, and we will walk -
Back where you heart awaits;
Many are left, yet to be saved -
Will you leave them to their fates?
Release the fear, my fallen dear -
Your victory is so very near;
The star I light for you tonight -
Things are not as they appear.
