The Attitude of Gratitude
No matter what is going on in your life, there is always something to be grateful for. Emotions are energy, and that energy sets your vibration. Your vibration “asks” for what you want and need. The energy or emotion you feel sends out your request to the universe to be fulfilled. Letting yourself feel gratitude brings more of what made you feel grateful and, in turn, multiplies that initial feeling of gratitude. If you let yourself feel that gratitude in each instance, it doesn’t take long at all before you are in a continuous state of gratitude, and your reasons to feel grateful are multiplied all around you!
Emotions come from thoughts. Those who speak and write about the power of positive thinking, once had the revelation that they were the navigators of their own ships by simply what they they thought and felt. It was such an awakening for them and in their own lives, that they felt an urgency to tell everyone!
Truly, our reality does indeed lie in our perceptions of everything, and our perceptions stem from within. If you don’t like what you are manifesting in your life, perhaps it is time to take the attitude of gratitude, and change those perceptions that field your thoughts and emotions. Living in a state of gratitude truly does change everything in your life.
Next time you begin to think a negative thought, consciously change that, by starting to think about what you are grateful for in your life, this day, or even this moment. Make a commitment to yourself to change your perceptions about the world around you within your own thinking, and you will literally watch the world around you, as well as your own life, evolve to a much happier state of being.
